A tenth bedroom, a month of gin and the launch of Rudden’s Ruin house gin, are just a few of the activities on the calendar from January 2018, as Grassington House plans a celebratory tenth year.
Owners Sue and John Rudden reopened the house in 2008, and have invested their hearts and souls into the Yorkshire business, completely revamping the offering, creating new rooms and firmly establishing the venue in the minds of food and travel lovers across the region and further afield.
A wedding license obtained in 2012 has enabled the Grassington House team to welcome couples and their friends and family to take over the house for their own, and the wedding offering continues to grow, with the addition of a pop-up mobile bar.
“Celebrating our 10th birthday in 2018 feels like a milestone moment,” says owner Sue Rudden, “Grassington House remains such a passion for us.
We’ve won awards, fitted a state of the art kitchen, maintained two AA rosettes throughout, opened a successful outdoor catering company, partnered with and supported the local community and retained staff who have been with us here from the start.
“We’re looking forward to celebrating throughout the year.”
